Guide for Gaps

The team self-assessment tool consists of a series of statements designed to help you identify your team’s areas of strength as well as your opportunities to further promote inclusion for Two-Spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer people in your community.

To use the tool, read through and select any and all of the provided statements that best align with your observations and impressions of your team, department, and/or agency. You can also use the statements within the self-assessment as prompts for reflection and dialogue among your team about your 2SLGBTQ+ inclusion practices and potential next steps to build on your progress to-date.

Rest assured that your privacy is our utmost priority. We want to emphasize that no personal or identifying information will be collected during your interaction with the Guide for Gaps. We’ve designed the system to ensure that all results remain entirely anonymous, and there is no way to trace or link any specific user to the data generated by the platform. Your input is valuable to us, and we appreciate your trust in our commitment to safeguarding your privacy.
