Hiring: Director of Programs and Member Services

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of Programs and Member Services (Director) is responsible for the leadership and oversight of effective and efficient services that support the ongoing needs of ACWS, working across the organization’s programs and projects in support of the board’s strategic goals.

The Director is responsible for leading the design and implementation of services for members that assist member organizations to speak with a collective unified voice, network and share information, acquire needed resources, influence public policy and systems, increase public awareness of domestic violence, and foster professional development. This position will work to ensure the alignment of all ACWS programs and projects toward the overarching outcomes and sustainability of ACWS.

The Director of Programs and Member Services plays a key role in advancing the dual mission of ACWS:  to support our members and work with them to end domestic violence and abuse, with an emphasis on member support.

Working with the Executive Director and in collaboration with the other members of the leadership team (Director of Public Relations, Manager Finance, HR & IT), the Director supports the development, implementation, and management of the annual budget.  In addition, the Director ensures the alignment of ACWS programs and projects towards the overarching outcomes and sustainability of ACWS, working to integrate Leading Change and fund development goals across the organization
