You can live without fear, hurt, abuse and violence. Shelters are there for you.

You are not alone. Whether you need someone to listen, to talk with, to give professional expertise, a place to stay, a safety plan— there are supports available for you.

ACWS members believe in the power of networking and sharing informed practices: together we are stronger.  Members agree to share aggregated data to guide policy and practice, participate in action-based research projects, sign an ethical moral framework and work collectively to end violence and abuse.

Women’s shelters remain open and ready to help, taking all recommended precautions to protect clients and their staff during COVID-19.
