This training is for ACWS members interested in augmenting their knowledge and ability to deliver Leading Change™ curriculum in their community. Participants build their knowledge base and learn how to address some of the tough questions we get when doing this work while gaining facilitation skills. This workshop increases awareness and capacity among prevention leaders at all levels of your organization, equipping them to continue the work of violence prevention in their communities. Safety is our priority. ACWS requires that all participants of our in-person workshops, events, and training session provide evidence that they are fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (at least 14 days post receiving the dose for which they are most recently eligible) and follow masking and distancing protocols. If participants are not willing to disclose their vaccination status and follow our masking and physical distancing requirements, or if public health measures require, we may transition to a virtual session in lieu of an in-person one. As we continue to navigate this pandemic, ACWS believes this policy to be essential in delivering a safe environment for our event participants and staff, as well as an important measure to help our communities to continue reopening safely.
