Become a Member
Together, we are changing systems and culture to end domestic violence.
With you, our collective power is stronger. Your membership with ACWS adds to our collective ability to help each member best support the needs of women, children and seniors facing abuse in Alberta.
Membership is granted through application and must be approved by the ACWS board.
Members must:
- Be a non-profit organization or registered charity
- Operate in Alberta
- Have a primary purpose of assisting women and families in abusive situations
- Be an agency that provides residential services and/or residential programs for women and their children or seniors fleeing abuse
- Be incorporated provincially or federally
- Support the objects and ethical framework of the Council
- Sign an Information Sharing Agreement
