Who We Are Together, ACWS and our members work to end domestic violence—in our homes and throughout our communities. History ACWS began with a box of files and nine founding members who recognized that with their combined strengths, passion and dedication, they were stronger. Staff Our staff is made up of a committed team working in community development, member support, programming and training, data analysis, communications, and administration. Journey to ReconcilationACWS is committed to reconciliation and building relationships with Indigenous communities. Through collaboration with community leaders, elders, activists, and on-reserve shelters, ACWS has developed curriculum, tools, and land acknowledgments to facilitate greater understanding of Indigenous history and culture.Learn More
