Shelter Job: Family Support Worker, Lloydminster Interval Home Society (Lloydminster AB)

As the full time, permanent Family Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing connection and support to children/youth and their mothers who have been impacted by family violence. In this role you will promote each family’s strengths and goals through individualized support plans and services and support strong parent-child relationships through family engagement activities. As well, you will offer children/youth and mothers practical assistance with daily needs and routines, childcare, and programming. As the Family Support Worker, you are strongly committed to work that promotes the strengths and wellbeing of families and your strong time management, communication and teamwork skills ensure your success in this positive, dynamic, and demanding work environment.
