The risk factors for intimate partner violence re‐assault are exactly the same as those for
intimate partner homicide.

The DA Question regarding whether or not a woman has ever threatened or tried to commit suicide is not calculated into the DA scoring but is included as an additional screening to give her resources if necessary.

If a woman receives a score of less than 8, she is considered low danger and therefore does not have any risk of being killed by her partner in the future.

The majority of women who are at risk for lethality do not come in contact with someone who
could be a potential risk assessor (police officer, nurse, shelter worker, etc).
